Even though I have not been posting consistently, it makes my heart happy to know that you still care and like to read my blog. In my last post, I forgot about my salvaged mantle makeover that we installed in my office last year. It was a project that required a little more patience and ingenuity than the norm, but the results were totally worth it.
Hello lovely readers. It has been over a year since I have shared any projects on my blog, and I actually considered closing it down because writing consistently has proven to be extremely difficult. BUT, I love sharing our home projects and my thrifting escapades with you, so here I am trying to make a go of it once again. Let’s see what has been going on in my life, shall we?

Welcome to my Thrifted Winter Wonderland! In between home projects and Christmas activities, I was able to squeeze in a little bit of time to create this little glittered village made from thrifted birdhouses. It was so easy and fun to do, let me show you how I did it.
The majority of the furnishings in my home have been painted at one time or another. Every once and a while, I choose to leave something as is, shocking, I know. Such is the case with my little green cart.
If you prefer modernism, impressionism or abstract, there is art out there for everyone…..in your local thrift store or consignment shop. Personally, I don’t have a favorite, as long as it puts a smile on my face, and doesn’t cost a fortune, I love it. Recently, I have had great luck finding art at my local secondhand stores and wanted to show you an easy way to makeover thrifted art.
